Bobo Newsom pitched for Brooklyn (NL) 1929-1930, 1942-1943; Chicago (NL) 1932; St. Louis (AL) 1934-1935, 1938-1939, 1943; Washington (AL) 1935-1937, 1946-1947, 1952; Boston (AL) 1937; Detroit (AL) 1939-1941; Philadelphia (AL) 1944-1946, 1952-1953; New York (AL) 1947; and New York (NL) 1948. He pitched in 600 games, made 483 starts, had 246 complete games and pitched 31 shutouts. One of Newsom's shutouts was with more than one catcher.
