Billy Pierce pitched for Detroit (AL) 1945, 1948, Chicago (AL) 1949-1961, and San Francisco (NL) 1962-1964. He pitched in 585 games, made 432 starts, had 193 complete games and pitched 38 shutouts. Two of Pierce's shutouts were with more than one catcher.
