Earl Whitehill pitched for Detroit (AL) 1923-1932; Washington (AL) 1933-1936; Cleveland (AL) 1937-1938; and Chicago (NL) 1939. He pitched in 541 games, made 473 starts, had 226 complete games and pitched 16 shutouts. None of Whitehill's shutouts were with multiple catchers.
