Johnny Allen pitched for New York (AL) 1932-1935; Cleveland (AL) 1936-1940; St. Louis (AL) 1941; Brooklyn (NL) 1941-1943; and New York (NL) 1943-1944. He pitched in 352 games, made 241 starts, had 109 complete games and pitched 17 shutouts. All of Allen's shutouts were with one catcher.
