Mort Cooper's Battery Mates


Mort Cooper pitched for St. Louis (NL) 1938-1945, Boston (NL) 1945-1947, New York (NL) 1947, and Chicago (NL) 1949. He pitched in 295 games, made 239 starts, had 128 complete games and pitched 33 shutouts. Five of Cooper's shutouts were with more than one catcher. His batterymate who caught most of his starts and shutouts was his brother, Walker Cooper.
