Dean pitched for St. Louis (NL) 1930, 1932-1937; Chicago (NL) 1938-1941; and St. Louis (AL) 1947. He pitched in 317 games, made 230 starts, had 154 complete games, and pitched 26 shutouts. One of Dean's shutouts were with more than one catcher.
