Wes Ferrell pitched for Cleveland (AL) 1927-1933, Boston (AL) 1934-1937, Washington (AL) 1937-1938, New York (AL) 1938-1939, Brooklyn (NL) 1940, and Boston (NL) 1941. He pitched in 374 games, made 323 starts, had 227 complete games and pitched 17 shutouts. One of Ferrell's shutouts was with more than one catcher. His batterymate who caught most of his starts and shutouts was his brother, Hall-Of-Fame catcher Rick Ferrell.
